Indira Gazieva,

International Center for South Asian Studies, Russian State University for the Humanities (RSUH), Moscow, Russia

Foreign language lessons online have already become acceptable for Russian students because they are interesting, comfortable and effective. However, few of them who want to learn a foreign language know how to study in a pandemic. It depends on many factors, but the main thing is the unbelief of new information technologies and methods of distance messaging and education. However, teaching the Hindi language online is becoming more popular every year. Its main privilege is convenience and the ability to receive information from anywhere in the world. How is the distance education process for students learning Hindi arranged at the Russian State University for the Humanities in Moscow? Online Hindi language training is aimed at all aspects of language learning: reading, listening, writing homework, and checking homework. The problem lies not in the quality of the teacher’s knowledge or teaching methodology, but in the style of transferring knowledge via Skype, Zoom, and Discord and getting results. The rise of distance learning entailed the necessity of developing and increasing the implementation of new distance education technologies, but like new educational technologies, distance learning has certain advantages and disadvantages.
